Join SaskFSA, SK DEN, researchers, agronomists, and industry partners for a full-day look at field-scale water management research! This field day will bring together the bigger picture: Can improving field efficiency deliver better agronomics, stronger stewardship, and more resilient acres?
The morning session will focus on the research project itself, including water management, economics, soil and crop response, technology, soil probes, weather stations, piezometers, cover crops, water quality monitoring, and field-scale data collection.
The afternoon will move to the research demonstration site for a field tour and live tile drainage installation. It is an opportunity to see research in progress, ask questions, and connect water management decisions directly to soil health, crop performance, farm efficiency, and responsible stewardship.
