SaskFSA Membership: An Investment in Profitability and Resilience
By joining SaskFSA, farmers invest in their farm’s profitability and resilience. Effective water management through SaskFSA not only increases yields and reduces crop stress but also builds a foundation for farming practices to safeguard your farm’s legacy.
Membership Cost
SaskFSA membership is based on $0.15 per annual crop production acre, with a minimum fee of $100 per year. GST is charged on top of this amount.
For example:
- 3000 production acres x $0.15 = $450.00
- 1200 uncultivated acres x 0.00 = $0.00
- Total: $450 (+GST)
There is no charge for uncultivated acres, but please specify this number as it reflects the stewardship acres you host on farm.

How long is a membership valid?
Membership is renewed in November/December. If you join SaskFSA in September or later, your membership carries through the following year.
How are renewals handled?
Our AGM in November is the call to action for renewals — check our Events page for details. We process payments at the event, then send invoices in December to those who didn’t attend.
Will you automatically bill my card next year?
No. We don’t auto-charge cards on file. You’ll receive renewal notices and can pay at the AGM or online.
Will I get a reminder?
Yes. If you didn't attend the AGM, you'll get an invoice in December, and we'll follow-up if needed.
Why attend the AGM?
The AGM is where knowledge transfer, policy updates and like‑minded connections come to life. It’s the best place to renew, get informed and grow your network!
Farmers’ Voices Are Being Excluded From Policy Discussions
The decisions made in policy rooms impact everything from fuel costs to water usage, and without strong producer representation, policies may not reflect the realities of Saskatchewan farms. We’ve seen the impact with:
Restricted Resources
Impractical Rules
Disrupt farmers' livelihoods
Policies
That hurt both stewardship and land efficiency
